There was a time when I was desperately searching for ways to earn even $1 per day online. As a university student, I understood the financial burden my education and personal expenses placed on my parents, and I wanted to become financially independent as soon as possible.

I spent countless hours searching Google for online earning opportunities and asking people in various online groups for guidance. Unfortunately, despite my efforts, I couldn’t find a clear path forward.

Determined to learn, I started watching graphic design tutorials on YouTube and other websites. These resources helped me understand the fundamentals of graphic design and introduced me to the creative industry. However, I quickly realized that watching tutorials alone was not enough. I wanted structured learning, practical guidance, and mentorship from professionals who had already achieved success in the freelancing world.

During my search, I joined a Facebook community for freelancers, where I came across Umar Farooq. After learning about his work and the mission of Freelancing Skill, I decided to enroll in their training program.

Although the training lasted only one month, the knowledge and practical insights I gained were invaluable. While nobody can become a professional graphic designer overnight, the training provided me with a solid foundation in both graphic design and online freelancing. More importantly, it helped me understand how to approach freelancing as a career rather than just a hobby.

What impressed me most was the supportive environment. Freeliancing Skill felt more like a family than a training platform. The guidance, motivation, and encouragement I received gave me the confidence to continue improving my skills and pursuing my goals.

 

One lesson I learned throughout this journey is that success requires persistence. If you truly want to achieve something meaningful, you must remove the phrase “I give up” from your vocabulary. There will be challenges, setbacks, and moments of doubt, but consistent effort and determination always create new opportunities.

Today, Alhamdulillah, my freelancing income is strong enough to support not only myself but also contribute to my family’s financial well-being. Looking back, I am grateful that I chose to keep learning, keep struggling, and never stop believing in the possibilities that freelancing can offer.

My message to every aspiring freelancer is simple: stay patient, continue learning, work hard, and trust the process. The results may not come immediately, but with dedication and consistency, success will eventually follow.
